The book explores the formation of the legal, institutional, and material framework for media operations in the early years of Soviet power and the development of the party-state national press as a tool of agitation and propaganda. Special attention is given to newspapers published in North Ossetia — including "Kommunist', "Vlast Truda", and "Rastdzinad" — which played an active role in promoting communist ideology and implementing key directions of socialist construction.
