The past is not what it used to be — new times require new ways of remembering. Monstrous, static museums no longer attract the viewer and do not cause catharsis, but simply strong emotions. Yana Barinova turns to the tools of new media art and, using the example of the memory of the Holocaust tragedy, offers innovative ways of organizing the space of memory in a modern city. This is an interdisciplinary study at the intersection of urban planning, art history, and philosophy of history.
