The author deals with the land and settlement policy in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, which he views as an integral part of the unified Nazi Germanization policy applied in the wider area of the German Reich. It brings a new perspective on the settlement policy and the mechanisms of its functioning at higher and lower levels in the management of the settlement process along structural and organisational lines, and thus contributes to the documentation and clarification of the overall goals of the Nazi occupying power, whose Germanisation plans were to have far-reaching consequences not only for the territory in question but also for the Czech nation as a whole.
