The monograph is devoted to some current issues of public-private partnership mechanisms and their application in implementing the recreational function of national parks. It discusses the existing theoretical and legislative foundations, as well as international experiences in shaping the current ecotourism concept within the framework of a new paradigm for the development of specially protected natural areas. Using the examples of TransBaikal and Tunka National Parks, the authors explore challenges and prospects of public-private partnership that national parks are facing while developing ecotourist infrastructure. The book can be useful for public and municipal officials, protected areas management bodies, researchers, university faculty, students and postgraduates, as well as for entrepreneurs and experts in the field of tourism.
