Generally characterizing the postwar world, one may conclude that this was a period of growing attention to human rights. The theme of human rights protection at this time becomes pivotal both in the international and national law. Human rights have acquired the status of axiomatic all-human value. The ensurance of rights of the ethnic groups has become a leading political and legal direction of activity in strengthening of the independent Ukrainian state. The first legal act, which secures equal rights for all ethnic groups living in Ukraine, was the Declaration of State Sovereignity. The book presents the list of national cultural associations of Transcarpathian region.
