The conference program covered the widest range of discussions on the problems of nomination and discourse. The problems of nomination were considered from various angles and perspectives - in diachrony and synchrony, on the material of one and several languages (in a comparative aspect); The subject of discussion was also different types of nomination - primary and secondary nomination, single-word and dissected nomination, as well as nomination of separate spheres of objective reality. The discursive problematics was also considered quite widely: the focus of scientists was on such issues as the distinction and correlation of the concepts “discourse” and “text”, functional style and discourse; structural and semantic features of different types of discourse (scientific, artistic, religious, advertising, political, etc.), the peculiarity of speech behavior in different types of discourse; also touched upon some applied aspects of the use of a cognitive-discursive approach in the practice of teaching types of speech activity, etc.
