In the second, much expanded edition of "Mysterious Dukhnovich", the famous journalist and writer Alexander Gavrosh offers his own reading of the figure of the priest and educator Alexander Dukhnovich (1803-1865), around which there is still much controversy: Muscovite, separatists or the founder of the Ukrainian Renaissance? This is the first book about the most famous Transcarpathian of the XIX century, published outside the historical Transcarpathia. It included excerpts from diaries, letters, autobiographies of the awakener, presented in modern literary language, as well as articles by Alexander Gavrosh, his story about Dukhnovich's childhood "Family Secret" and a play about the last hours of life of the spiritual father of the Silver Land "Dear Friend". The book also includes interviews with the famous spiritualist Elena Rudlovchak, opinions of famous researchers, a poem by Shevchenko's laureate Peter Skunts.
