The present book is a sequel of a famous three-volume edition by Stanislav Kunaev “Poetry. Fortune. Russia”. It consists of four main chapters. The book is an emotional, but historically reasoned maintenance of the heroic and ascetic Soviet Age, aimed to protect it from the falsehood and libel by the well-known Jewish writers. A more complicated and deep approach to the topic is covered in one of the most important chapters of the book, titled “Lieutenants and Sutlers”, in the focus of which are the poet D.Samoilov and his mates from the Institute.
