My dear Slovaks represents a reedition of the first independent column collection of Julius Satinsky. These are sincere letters from the author to his own nation written just after the gentle revolution. They write about pitfalls for Slovaks, which could be long overcome after thirty years of democracy. The letters could thus serve as a historical source, a humorous memory of the wild early 1990s. However, some letter are still chilling today.
