We are pleased to announce that Valery Evgenievich presented the readers of the Glubokoye District Library with his book "My Contemporaries. Memories of a Diplomat"
The book contains brief vivid memories of his work path, scientific activity, diplomatic service, the most memorable meetings and acquaintances with people who to one degree or another influenced his life path.
The book describes impressions of the diplomatic service in Poland, Great Britain, Russia, Vietnam. Valery Evgenievich is the only Glubok resident who was introduced to Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain. The author described his trip to Iraq with humor.
The memoirs reveal the main stages of establishing and developing foreign economic relations with the countries of Europe and Southeast Asia. It tells about the establishment of economic ties with the regions of Russia.
