The book tells the story of an Armenan who passed through the Genocide. Orphaned at a young age, Harutyun (1898-1976), who spent his childhood in a German orphanage, was displaced with his family and the Armenian population of Kharberd in 1915, crosses the path of deportation and ends up in Der Zor in a concentration camp.
