Vladimir Ivanovich Prokoptsov (born August 8, 1953, the village of Zhgunskaya Buda, Dobrush District, Gomel Region, Belarus) - Director General of the National Art Museum of Belarus, member of the Commission of the Republic of Belarus for UNESCO, Belarusian Committee of the ICOM, Russian Academy of Arts , as well as Ph.D., artist and Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus (2013). The works presented in the album are evidence of creative search and constant self-improvement. Chronology is not significant for Uladzimir Prakaptsou's art, notwithstanding the major shifts in the public consciousness and spiritual life and certain cultural changes over the past decades.
