The present book is an interesting novel-parable. Its author can be easily called the Kusturica of prose. At the background of adventures of an ordinary cat Murie, which lost its masters during the war in Bosnia and is freely walking along Europe now, pretty important questions are settled. A whale is crossing the ocean, lobsters are making their way in a line along the ocean floor, an Arabian sheikh is flying round the Earth without landing, a Chinese is walking along a rope through an abyss… Do they have a goal, or is it the way itself, which is important for them? Will there be a shelter for a traveler or eternal wandering is a lot of all the living things?
