This publication is dedicated to the analysis of the municipal reform implementation in the Khabarovsk Krai. The authors analyze the features of geographical and socio-economic state of the Khabarovsk Krai, their influence on the municipal reform process. The authors also analyze in detail the municipal reform in 2004—2007, investigate interbudgetary relations in the Khabarovsk Krai and the financial state of municipalities.
