Five years have passed since the Ukrainian Orthodox believers received the Tomos of Autocephaly. In addition to the political liberation, Ukrainians have also formally completed the process of spiritual liberation from the Muscovite-Russian empire. There are many reasons for this, but there is one common one - the complete "de-Moscowization" of our history, culture, and politics has not yet occurred. The full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian army has actualized and accelerated these processes - our villages and cities are freeing themselves from many Moscow markers, including church ones.
