The monograph offers the author's concept of lexical-semantic modeling of the Ukrainian dialect continuum from an abstract model to a real representation. On the basis of modeling the semantics and word formation of dialect phenomena, a fragment of the dialectal picture of the world is reconstructed - its vertical axis associated with the concepts of the opposition top / bottom, each of which is qualified as a concept. A systematic approach to the analysis of dialect phenomena is applied, which is designed, on the one hand, to outline models of word creation, united formally and semantically, and on the other hand, to reveal models of structural and semantic transformations.
