Ph.D. Anna-Maria Kostova Totomanova is a professor at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski ”, one of the founders of the Department of Cyril and Methodius Studies and its head (2011-2019). Author (co-author) of eleven books in the field of paleoslavistics and two books on higher education, three textbooks, numerous scientific and encyclopedic articles , reviews, translations of medieval monuments. Her research interests are in the field of the history of the Bulgarian language (historical phonetics, morphology, word formation, lexicology); Bulgarian dialectology; the study and publication of medieval literary monuments; the state of the literary norm over the centuries; the history of religion; the digitalization of the Slavic written heritage and the introduction of information technologies in Paleoslavism and historical linguistics.
