The book offers a new view of Dostoevsky's artistic method, defined as "mimicry": Dostoevsky's main technique is that the false ideologemes of his characters mimic the ideas of Dostoevsky himself. The origins of this approach lie in the mentions of false Christs in the Gospel texts. One of the ways of distinguishing ideas is polyphony, i.e. the combination of different voices in one statement - characters, other thinkers, writers and poets, as well as the author himself.
