The monograph provides historiographical study of the governmental bodies activity in legal education of the Russian state military units covering the period from 1918 and up to the present. The author highlights peculiar features and shapes major objectives of the governmental bodies activity in the course of the Civil war (1918-1922), interwar period (1923-1941), in the years of WWII, in the post war period (1946-1991), and, eventually, in the post-Soviet years. The work is based on historical literature and research works analysis.
