This issue is a collection of articles devoted to the problems of history of Mykolayivshchyna (one of regions of Lvivshchyna) since the most ancient times till our days. Mykolayivshchyna is known for a lot of archaeological monuments among which are famous complexes in the villages Priyma, Stilsko, Rudnyky and Iliv. Important battles of many wars took place there. There formed the Ukrainian intelligentsia. This land was the native land and the place of creative activity of many prominent scientists and workers of Ukrainian culture, writers and poets, historians and geographers, sculptors and painters.
