Many of his paintings bear the names of musical pieces: sonatas, fugues, and preludes. This album is one of the most complete collections of Mikalojus Konstantinas Chiurlionis’ works. There are over 200 of Chiurlionis’ paintings and graphic works together with about 100 other works. His works are represeted in chronological order, and his painting manner and change of themes are also introduced. You will find drawings and sketches not yet well known to the public and a collection of Anapa photos taken by Chiurlionis himself in the book. Chiurlionis’ letters and musical scores are also represented.
