This book is our confession of love for the city, which became the heart of Ukrainian statehood. This is our attempt to describe the life of Kyiv a hundred years ago, which is so similar to our life now: battles with the Russians and at the same time the development of Ukrainian art, intellectual meetings and opposition of various social movements.
