The conceptual model and classification of photonic transport networks are given. The main technologies, components and models used in data transmission in photon transport networks, and the main models of the theory of random graphs are considered, tensor models for the study of telecommunication networks are described. A model for determining energy efficiency parameters for optical transport networks is considered. Approaches to the construction of OBS for photon transport networks are formed, the analysis of modeling and research of efficiency of signaling protocols on the criterion of time parameters and probability of data loss for OBS technology, as well as practical recommendations for their use.
