Metaphysical Requiem is a poem written by Volodymyr Haryaiv (1914–1997), the last Ukrainian futurist, a student of Mykhailo Semenko, a member of the legendary futuristic group New Generation, a witness to the Ukrainian literary revival of the 1920s and 1930s. Volodymyr Haryaiv began writing his work in the 1930s, returning to it from time to time during his lifetime and finishing it only in the 1990s. Unfortunately, the author has never seen the book in his life.
