Documentary, art and project sources of the Great Patriotic War are gathered and analyzed in this publication. The research is based on paintings and graphic works from the Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, the Russian State Archive of Literature and Art, the State Historical and Memorial Museum "The Battle of Stalingrad", the Volgograd Museum of Fine Arts, and the Shchusev State Research Museum of Architecture. There are also materials from other state and private collections. The book consists of 3 chapters.
