The author of the book was Dagestan goldsmith-gunsmith, who has seen and experienced a lot. The book tells about his peculiar and rich life of impressions. Memories of Experiences was first published in 1995-1996 in the newspaper "Ilchi" in the Lak language. This work is the first scholarly, commented edition of the memoirs of Magomed Guseinovich Kushiev. This publication includes: an introductory article about the author and his book, the original of the memoirs in the Lak language, the translation into Russian by Sagid-Battal Sheikhov with his short preface in the Lak and Russian languages, as well as comments on the text.
