The book of Liubomyr Huzar's memoirs is compiled on the basis of conversations recorded at his request in 2014–2016. This is the direct speech of the Patriarch himself, his personal address to the readers. The text records the life story of Liubomyr Huzar — childhood in interwar Ukraine, youth in Austria, growing up and searching for a vocation in America, monastic service in Italy, and finally returning to Ukraine after the restoration of its independence. However, this is not only a story about events, but also a spiritual and intellectual biography. The book is illustrated with photographs from private archives, many of which have been published for the first time.
