Adolf Nikolaevich is extremely famous thanks to his book "Illustrated Astrakhan". In this publication you can get acquainted with such Shtylko’s works as "Peter I and Astrakhan trade" and "Volga-Caspian shipping in the old days". The edition uses photographs from the Shtylko-Nordheim family fund and illustrations of Astrakhan at the turn of the 19th–20th centuries from the collection of S.Yu. Stepanov.
