The proposed monograph is devoted to medical topics and vocabulary of the stories of the physician-writer M. A. Bulgakov "Notes of a Young Doctor". The interdisciplinary study was written by a physician and a philologist in co-authorship, which ensured the most complete explanation of the literary text containing medical information. For the first time, a complete dictionary of medical terms (358 names) with an interpretation of words and examples from the text has been compiled; the author's medical terms of M. A. Bulgakov are highlighted, as well as terms denoting diseases and procedures described but not named by the author.
