The multi-author monograph attempts to comprehend the current state and further ways to increase the level of media security due to media literacy, the regulatory framework and opportunities associated with the use of artificial intelligence and the latest technologies. In particular, the monograph describes such important aspects as the devaluation of basic values in the modern media course, the dangers of using AL, especially deepfake, the ways to combat media threats in the 21st century. The authors use Russian media as an example.
