The monograph analyzes media memory as a mechanism for reproducing collectively shared ideas about the past. The use of a communication approach allowed the author to show the process of mediatization of collective memory in a digital environment. The paper identifies the contribution of digital communication tools such as fakes, Internet memes, and computer games to the construction of media memory, and presents the results of a socio-philosophical study of media memory as a phenomenon of digital society. Author: Denis Sergeevich Artamonov is Candidate of Historical Sciences.
