Andriy Kokotyukha is a Ukrainian writer and journalist. He was born on November 17, 1970 in the city of Nizhyn, in the family of a welder and a nurse. He wrote his first work of art at the age of seven. Although, in fact, no one has yet appreciated the artistic qualities of this work. Until the age of 12 he read and wrote only fairy tales. He published his first short story in 1987. In 1991 he wrote the crime novel "Marriage Games of Frogs", which in 1995 received an award from the publishing house "Torch". In 1996, the story was published as a separate book and became known as the "novel". This novel received a positive assessment from the author's parents and friends and a wide negative publicity in the press. Due to this, Kokotyukha became one of the famous modern writers. Andriy Kokotyukha writes in Russian and Ukrainian. According to one of his journalistic publications at the studio. O. Dovzhenko made a film called "Dead End". His detective novels "Dark Water", "Legend of the Headless", thriller "Creeping Snake" were also screened. He has written scripts for several documentaries from the series "Criminal Stories" on the ISTV channel. For a fee he wrote "women's" stories. The author constantly collaborates with the most popular Ukrainian newspapers, magazines and TV channels. Kokotyukha's works have been repeatedly awarded prizes. In 2012 he became the "Golden Writer of Ukraine".
