The given publication presents a revised and supplemented edition that has included the experience acquired during the publication of the first volume of the Encyclopedia "Germans in Russia". The compilation includes articles dedicated to the different aspects of the Encyclopedia creation. It discusses various issues connected with the life of the Germans in Ukraine. The Appendix contains the acts issued by the Presidium of the Public Academy of Sciences for Russian Germans, the main papers of Editorial Board and other reference materials.
