The director Yuri Tarich is known as the founder of the Belarusian cinema and the author of the first Belarusian film “Forest story”. Actor Pyotr Aleinikov was born and raised in Belarus, created unique and vivid images in popular films, including “The Seven Brave”, “Tractor Operators” and “Big Life”. Directors Vladimir and Elena Petkevich with their expressive animated ribbons brought European glory to Belarusian animation.
