The book “Master of the Urals” continues the series “Tales of the Northern Winds”. This tale is based on legends associated with one of the seven wonders of Russia - the Ural plateau Manpupuner (translated from the Mansi language - “Small Mountain of Idols”), located in the Pechora-Ilych State Natural Biosphere Reserve. Despite the remoteness, Manpupuner is considered the most famous tourist attraction in the Komi Republic. Its attractiveness is explained not only by its natural uniqueness, but also by the special atmosphere of a mysterious place, steeped in ancient legends.
