The work highlights the issues of the insurrectionary movement in the Mountainous part and in southern Dagestan in the 20-30s of the XX century, repression against the clergy, peasantry and intelligentsia of the republic and their consequences. Particular attention is paid to the repressions of 1937-1938. As an appendix, the most significant documents characterizing the scale of repression in Dagestan and their comparative analysis in the country are given, a list of persons (incomplete) from among the intelligentsia of Dagestan convicted in the 20-50s of the XX century is given. various judicial bodies (military tribunal, Supreme Court, Troika NKVD).
