Lin Hejinyan (1941-2024) was an American poet, essayist and translator. One of the most famous representatives of the "Language Writing". According to Arkady Dragomoshchenko, Khedzhinyan's work combines "brightness and unexpectedness of thinking, relentless constancy in exploring the possibilities of poetic speech as an object and tool of knowledge, consideration of the intellect as one of the subtlest forms of sensuality that creates a personality and at the same time introduces a difference between an event and experience."
The book includes texts from early poetry books of the 1960s and 70s to recent immersive writing experiences. This bilingual edition is the first and most extensive selection from all periods of her work, from different books, from all cross-genre variations.
