The Catholic Church in post-war Poland was the only institution opposing the godless enslavement of society, its atheism and communist indoctrination. The authorities wanted to destroy the Church at all costs and developed a plan to fight it. An example of this are the biographies of 22 priests martyrs of communism, who were ruthlessly persecuted and murdered for their faith and values.
