The presented monograph, which is the first scholarly work dedicated to the historical Novi Sanzhary region, was an initial attempt to search, identify, systematize and summarize data related to the fate of participants in the Great War of 1914–1918. It is dedicated to the veterans of the First World War who were from Novi Sanzhary volost Kobeliaky district, Poltava province. For the first time, archival materials from both Ukrainian and Russian archives, which were collected by the author, deciphered and translated from Russian into Ukrainian, memories of relatives, materials from the researcher's personal archive are being published.
