This is the story of the life of our countryman Marianna Mniskhovna, better known as Marina Mniech, due to the misreading of the family name by Russians (Polish Mniszech is a monk and Mniszek is a dandelion). The youngest daughter of Polish magnate Jerzy Mnisch was born in the Starosambirsky district of Lviv region. Fate linked her to False Dmitry - the First and Second, the Cossack chieftain Ivan Zarutsky, made the first Empress of Moscow and the rival of King of the Commonwealth Sigmund III Vaza. And in the end, she took everything away.
