This is the second volume of the collected works of Mara Belcheva (1868-1937). Known primarily as a poetess, Belcheva also wrote works in prose and did some translations. This volume includes "My Childhood Memories" and "Living in the Big City", memoirs about the great poet Pencho Slaveikov, with whom she had a relationship, notes on Slaveikov's poetry, reminiscences about the spiritual teacher Peter Deunov, and forewords which Belcheva wrote on various occasions. Her translations are of works by Friedrich Nietzsche, Gerhart Hauptmann and Giacomo Leopardi.
