The village of Mankavichy is located 9 km south-southeast of the town of Postava and 3 km north of the Vilnius-Polatsk highway. It is located on a glacial lake ridge on the right bank of the Miadielka River, on which a fairly large pond has been created.
The village extended 1 km 200 m from the pond in the direction to the northeast and as of 2001 had 26 houses. 3 most distinctive objects should be singled out the Orthodox church in the name of the Assumption of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, the family chapel of Drutskii-Lyubetskii, a monument to soldiers and partisans, the remains of the manor and park ensemble, the remains of a mill, stables.
The famous Belarusian writer Uladzimir Dubovka studied at the Mankavitsk school.
