This lexicographical work of a new type combines the characteristics of both defining and word-formative dictionaries. The authors sought to reflect derivative nominal (substantive and adjective) lexis, characterized a man, through its meanings, word-formative structures, grammatical, accentual and stylistic qualifications. The dictionary promotes the extension of readers’ knowledge about dialect wealth of the Russian language, about Russian man, his moral and cultural values, as well as his relations with the environment.
