The book is how the famous writer Andrei Usachev (Andrei Alekseevich Usachev, 1958, a Russian children's writer, poet and playwright, screenwriter, radio host), the author of the famous "Sobachka Sonya", "Volshebnoe Derevo", "Dedmorozovka" and 300 more books for children and adults, traveled around Kolyma and listened to Raven's tales named Yukagirych. Drawings for these fairy tales were made by the famous artist Igor Oleinikov who also traveled several times in Kolyma and this is his 97th book.
