"Machine of Life" is a collection built unconventionally, it is a wreath of stories. Fourteen of them are as many as the sonnets in the wreath, and in the same way they pass the baton to each other: each subsequent story begins exactly as the previous one ended. And this is justified - because the whole book about Kyiv, the Eternal City, a continuous and sometimes unexpected story about its very different people and unique atmosphere.
