The trends of climate change in recent decades and the related transformations in the abiotic and biotic components of the natural complexes of the reserve and its protected area are identified and shown. The characteristics of the water bodies of the protected area are given. New data on the species composition of aphyllophoran fungi and lichen flora of the reserve, the distribution and state of populations of rare species of vascular plants are provided. The dynamics of the demographic structure of forest-forming species coenopopulations are analyzed, long-term data on the productivity of coniferous species are provided. An assessment is made of the current state of the biota of aquatic ecosystems. Based on long-term censuses, the dynamics of the summer population of spruce and birch forest birds is characterized, and the dynamics of the number of small and game species of mammals is analyzed. A separate section is devoted to the history of the study of the caves of the Pinezhsky Reserve.
