Summer 1946, Swidnica. In an atmosphere of sensation, a transport of prisoners arrives to the city - former SS men, camp executioners. Among them are six guards of KL Gross-Rosen, arrested by the Allies and the Soviets in 1945. A painstaking investigation begins in which the Polish prosecutor's office tries to prove them guilty. Thousands of pages of documents, hundreds of witnesses, trial hours and months of waiting for the verdict. Contemporaries begin to call this process Polish Nuremberg. Six cases and ten biographies show the unknown nightmare of the Gross-Rosen concentration camp.
