The master's thesis deals with the topic of the Holocaust in selected youth works. The first part provides a theoretical framework that includes a brief overview of World War II, a description of the most famous concentration camps such as Auschwitz, Dachau and Mauthausen, the definition of the Holocaust and youth literature, the characteristics of adult and youth works on the Holocaust and literary types of analyzed works.
