On the basis of Tibetan historical writing "Debter Zhamco" historical periods of ethnoses and tribes in North-Eastern Tibet, which formed part of Tsinkhai, Gansu and Sychuan Provinces of China, are exposed chronologically. The culture of Amdo tribes is replaced by the ancient Tibetan religion of Bon in the sphere of cult and by the Geser epic in the culture. The Geser epic is a whole cycle of poetic works united by the folklore plot of Geser's heroic adventures.
