Kemal Mujicic Artnam (Turbe near Travnik, February 14, 1960) after finishing secondary school in Travnik, came to Zagreb in 1980 where he studied at the Faculty of Technology and Textiles. After a series of literary performances at various literary forums and publication in relevant literary magazines, he published his first collection of poems in 1994. Since then, he regularly appears with new works on the third program of the radio, literary festivals, public events and literary magazines. His poems have been included in seven anthologies and two relevant reviews of contemporary Croatian poetry (Passion of difference, dark sound of emptiness and Off-line) and several anthologies. At the end of 2009, his radio novel was premiered in five installments based on the novel Five Liters of Gasoline. Some songs and stories have been translated into German, English, Spanish, Polish, Slovenian and Macedonian. He is a member of the Society of Croatian Writers. He lives in Zagreb.
